Time

Some days I wish I could buy some time. Truly.
The days fly by so quickly, now I look at the calendar and it's the end of September...but it seems like yesterday it was just the beginning!
It often seems there isnt' enough time in a day to get everything done, yet at the same time, I'm thankful the days aren't longer because some days are just REALLY long..not so?!

As we prepare for my parents visit in just 3 weeks there is much to do, and we are so excited to have them visit us for the first time out here! It's a very very exciting time for us; though with my mom's current health challenges the journey could be trying. Please be praying for her as they prepare to come as well as for the journeys involved!

It's been an exciting time working on a women's/teen outreach that we hope to do either in December or January, depending on if mom and dad are able to take the bin of material that a friend has graciously been collecting back in Chilliwack. Ground work as usual takes time here and when you think it would be easy...NOT, there are always road blocks! People not answering emails, websites that are outdated and info no longer legit, phone numbers incorrect...and the list goes on! Than the challenge of trying to google the address to see where they are located...and since we don't go by addresses here, that too is impossible!
It's amounted to one thing: Taking a day to go and visit the place, and hope someone that we can talk to is there!

If you would like to contribute to the ministry bin, currently being filled in Chilliwack, the following items are what we are collecting:
New/gently used women's underclothing (bra's & undies)
travel size toothpaste and toothbrushes
small deodorants
other cheery items to add to a care package (small gift: notepad, pretty pen...)

Gabriel is nearly 7 months (tomorrow), nearly walking and just a blast and a half! He fills every day with great joy, much laughter and snuggles! He is a ball of energy and it just reaches out to whoever is over! His big brown eyes, constant chatter and friendly character make him all too adorable :)

As Gabriels down for a nap...(we'll see how long that lasts), I need to get a few more things done! We'll catch you in the next newsletter hopefully next week!
