Marcia, myself, and Jill
So, the first day of classes are done and more to go! We had a fantastic day, and have really got to know eachother well, as we are a nice small group. What is really exciting for me is Lucienne and Gomao, a couple with 2 children that are here for Candidacy were in Uganda and Gomao worked with Gerrit at the air base, so they both know Gerrit and Klazina really well after being in Uganda for 20months!
This missionary world is so small, and it's neat how we all are able to connect via friends and family!

After classes, i went for a jog/speed walk with another candidate Dan, and got to know him better as well. The weather was about 20 today, an so beautiful, though we are in the basement in the seminar room with training all day, we are able to slip outdoors on breaks for fresh air.
Tomorrow we hope to spend the day at the MAF office, and do our training there as well as meeting the rest of the MAF staff here in Guelph.
What a blessing it is to be here with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, what a union it is, and i'm so thankful to God for this opportunity, each day is so exciting, learning new things and preparing me physically, mentally, emotionally and spriritually for my trip to Uganda.
Well, i need to do my HW, and head to bed on time, so take care and keep in touch!
Love, Lena
