Well, we've been here for aweek and sure didn't really know what to expect, but i'm thankful it's gone so well. The priceless friendships formed, the intimate relationships with others in the Lord, the amazing weather and ya, the classes we've had with the homework! Our leaders mentioned that it was grueling, well, if thats the case, it's going to get bad yet!! But that hasn't been the case yet, it's been a great joy to work through all the lessons here and doing homework together here in the lounge, hanging out with my other "class-mates". Honestly, Dan and Sean have been like a bunch of brothers, in that i also mean in the harassment way, i'm going to miss them when we leave! Well, we've discussed that it could be possible for us to all end up in Uganda, that would be a blast!!
Today in class, we went over our presentations, studiously shaping them to suit any audience-- that means listening to each other practicing over and over!!
We also were blessed to recieve a copy of the Bible on CD from a friend of Art's. This Online Bible, as it's called is an amazing tool with many different languages, translations and learning tools! I look forward to spending time to work with it and use it.
In addition to that we also were priveledged to have a few pastors visit us, giving us the opportunity to ask questions related to raising support, and approaching pastors.
Now, i'm just about to go and have dinner, have i mentioned yet, the food in plenty that we have been blessed with?! Yes, we are needing to keep active as otherwise i'll be coming home with an additional extra pounds....oops!!
Yes, we haven't been in need of food, but have had it in abundace from the wonderful crew at camp!
Well, thats it for today- i'll have to upload some pictures of our trip to Niagar Falls yesterday, but first, the cook is calling!!
Bye for now!
